Best Matric Schools in Sukkur (2026): Board Results, Fees & Parent Checklist

Search for the best Matric schools in Sukkur and you mostly find reputation lists, or result websites that repeat each other. This guide starts from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sukkur's own 2026 documents instead. It sets out what they show about Sukkur's Class 10 results, what they cannot show, and which schools publish enough about their board for you to check. It is not a ranking. SchoolNama's Sukkur city page lists the individual campuses we hold.

BISE Sukkur examines Matric in two parts: SSC Part I in Class 9 and SSC Part II in Class 10. Its statistical sheet for the 2026 Class 10 Science group covers three districts, Ghotki, Khairpur and Sukkur. Across them, 56,000 candidates registered, 55,844 appeared and 39,102 passed, which the board gives as an overall pass rate of 70.02%. Boys passed at 62.44% and girls at 85.85%. The Sukkur district gazette and the position-holder notice are both dated 18 July 2026. On 30 September 2026 the Class 10 files on the board's website were for the Science group only, and its Class 9 gazettes were for the 2025 exam. Check the board's own site for anything newer rather than result aggregator pages.

Sukkur district had the lowest Class 10 Science pass rate of the three. By the board's statistical sheet, 14,812 candidates registered in Sukkur district, about a quarter of the board's total, and 14,785 appeared. Of those, 9,867 passed, or 66.7% by our calculation, against 76.6% in Ghotki and 68.5% in Khairpur. The gap between boys and girls was wide: 58.1% of Sukkur district's boys passed and 81.0% of its girls. A-1, the top grade, went to 1,405 candidates, about one in ten who appeared, and to 16.1% of girls but only 5.5% of boys.

The board does not publish school-level results, and parents should know this before trusting any claim that a school topped the Sukkur board. The Sukkur district gazette prints seat numbers only, grouped under each grade and under failures, absentees and withheld results. It gives no school name or code. So no one can work out a Sukkur school's pass rate or A-1 share from the board's public documents. There is a second problem. When we counted every seat number in the gazette, including the failure, absent and withheld lists, the total was 14,812, matching the registered total. But its grade lists put 11,420 candidates in passing grades, against the statistical sheet's 9,867. We could not reconcile the two, so this guide uses the statistical sheet's figures.

The gazette is still useful to a parent, one seat number at a time. Ask a school for its own Class 10 result sheet listing its candidates' seat numbers and grades, then look those seat numbers up in the gazette's grade lists to confirm them. A school that will not share a seat-number list, or only quotes its toppers, is telling you something. Ask too how many students it registered, not only how many passed.

Of the board's 2026 Class 10 result documents, only the toppers list names schools. In the 2026 Science group, first and second place among boys, with 1,009 and 1,006 marks, went to students of The Excellence School & College, Pano Akil, and third, with 1,004, to a student of Govt Boys Campus Higher Secondary School, Dara Wahan. Among girls, first place, with 1,009, went to a student of School of Excellence Sukkur, second, with 1,006, to a student of Govt High School, Mulla Ali, and third, with 1,001, to a student of Mazhar Muslim Model Higher Secondary School, Ranipur. The toppers' seat numbers let us check where they were filed: all but the Ranipur student appear in the Sukkur district gazette, and the Ranipur student is in Khairpur's. We have not repeated students' names. SchoolNama has a Sukkur listing called School Of Excellence, but we have not confirmed it is the same school. One or two toppers say little about a whole class.

Matric in Sukkur does not always mean BISE Sukkur, so ask which board a school uses. The Federal Board's (FBISE) affiliated list includes Army Public School, Sukkur, at SSC and HSSC level, and in Pano Aqil Cantt, Army Public School and Intermediate College, F.G. Public School and F.G. Public School No. 1 (Boys). It also lists two Citizens Foundation (TCF) schools in Sukkur district, near Bypass Road in Saleh Pat and in Taluka Rohri. Those schools' FBISE results are not in BISE Sukkur's documents. IBA Public School Sukkur, a semi-residential co-education school, says it introduced the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) system in August 2014; AKU-EB awards its own Secondary School Certificate for Classes 9 and 10. The school also runs a Cambridge section, which our O Level guide for Sukkur covers.

Two network schools list Matric without naming a board. Beaconhouse's branch page for its Sukkur Campus on Shikarpur Road lists Matriculation and Intermediate among its programmes, and The City School's campus directory describes its Indus Campus, also on Shikarpur Road, as running from playgroup to HSSC and Matric. Neither page says whether its Class 10 students sit BISE Sukkur or another board, and because the BISE Sukkur gazette carries no school names, we could not check. Ask each school, and ask to see last year's seat-number result sheet.

SchoolNama's own Sukkur data cannot filter Matric schools for you yet, and we would rather say so. We hold 28 Sukkur listings, 15 in New Sukkur and 13 in the Military Road area, and none is a full profile. 21 have no curriculum recorded. The seven tagged Matric are six public institutions and Beaconhouse Sukkur Campus, and the tag is unreliable: it includes a primary school, Govt. Primary School New Pind, and Govt Islamia Science College. Meanwhile The City School Indus Campus, which lists Matric in its own directory, has no curriculum recorded with us. Our listings also include places that are not secondary schools, such as the Allama Iqbal Open University regional centre. Two listings are recorded as girls' institutions and the rest as co-ed, but we have not verified that field for Sukkur, so confirm it with the school.

Fees are where the evidence is thinnest. SchoolNama holds no fee record for any Sukkur listing, and none of the school pages we opened, Beaconhouse's branch page, The City School's directory and IBA Public School Sukkur's website, publishes a Matric fee schedule. We have not quoted fees from aggregator sites because we could not trace them to the schools. Sindh's rules give parents some leverage. Dawn reported in July 2026 that, according to an official of the Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions, schools typically seek the directorate's approval for a 5% increase when they renew their registration. The directorate treated one school's rise without that approval as a breach of the rules, and schools were told to display the approved fee on the notice board and at reception. The Nation reported in April 2026 that under the province's fee rules for the 2026-27 session, schools may charge Matric students only up to March and may not collect additional fees from students sitting board exams.

Marks matter less than several other things. Board fit comes first: BISE Sukkur, FBISE and AKU-EB set different papers and publish results differently. Check whether boys and girls are taught in separate sections for Classes 9 and 10, and whether the school continues to Classes 11 and 12. Commute often decides it, and some of the schools above are in Pano Aqil Cantt, Rohri or Saleh Pat rather than Sukkur city. SchoolNama does not yet list any pick-and-drop providers or tutors in Sukkur, so ask each school about its own vans and try the journey at school time. Once you have two or three candidates, SchoolNama's compare page shows what we hold for each listing, but confirm the board, the full Class 10 result and the fees with the school itself.
