About SchoolNama

School nama — a chronicle of schools. SchoolNama is the place parents in Pakistan go for anything connected to their child’s schooling: which school, what it costs, what other parents think, how to get there, who can tutor, where to buy the books.

What we are not

We are not a middleman. We do not take payments, hold money, book anything on your behalf or charge providers commission. Providers list; parents choose; the relationship after that is between the two of you.

Parent-first

Only parents can start a conversation. A provider never sees who you are until you choose to contact them. Demand we gather (“someone in Soan Garden needs transport to Beaconhouse Bahria”) is used anonymously to help providers plan routes — never to expose a family.

Where we are

Islamabad and Rawalpindi first. The data model is built for all of Pakistan: country → province → city → area → school.
