Balochistan issued two notifications on 9 March 2026 during the fuel crisis. The School Education Department ordered all educational institutions in the province, public and private, closed with immediate effect from 9 March until 23 March 2026. The College, Higher and Technical Education Department separately closed government intermediate, degree and technical colleges and public universities from 10 to 23 March. Enrolment campaigns, the digital census and examinations were exempted and continued as scheduled. This is a historical record of the March 2026 closure and is no longer in force.
