The KP Elementary & Secondary Education Department has rejected a notification circulating on social media claiming all public and private institutions in the province would close on Fridays and Saturdays for two months as a fuel-conservation measure. The department confirmed the document is fake and advised students, parents and teachers to disregard it — no such change to the weekly schedule was approved.
