Best Schools in Faisalabad (2026): Fees, Curriculum & How to Shortlist
Comparing the best schools in Faisalabad? Here is what SchoolNama's own Faisalabad listings show, what the big networks actually publish, and what Punjab's 2026 rules now let you demand in writing.
Short answer
Faisalabad's strongest options fall into recognisable groups rather than one ranked list: national Cambridge networks with confirmed Faisalabad branches (Beaconhouse, The City School, Lahore Grammar School), long-established local independents (Divisional Public School & College in Madina Town, Faisalabad Grammar School), and larger local college chains (Chenab, Punjab College). Compare by curriculum, area and verified registration first, and ask for the fee sheet in writing at the campus.
How we researched this: We pulled every Faisalabad campus currently listed on SchoolNama (152 profiles across D Ground, Peoples Colony, Jaranwala Road and Madina Town), then cross-checked each named network against its own website, BISE Faisalabad and Punjab's 2026 private-school regulation notices - opening each source ourselves this week rather than repeating a fee or ranking figure from a listicle.
Search "best schools in Faisalabad" and you will find dozens of listicles claiming a definitive number one, usually copied from each other and rarely checked against what a school actually publishes. We built this guide differently: we pulled every Faisalabad campus currently on SchoolNama, checked what each named network's own site says today, and organised it around what is verifiable rather than a single ranked list.
SchoolNama currently lists 152 Faisalabad campuses, split across four areas the platform tracks: D Ground has 63 listings, Peoples Colony has 52, Jaranwala Road has 19 and Madina Town has 18. These are pulled from open map data, school-network directories and public records; none of them are claimed profiles yet, which means none carry a school-submitted fee table or a mature SchoolNama-verified parent rating. That is not a gap specific to one campus - it is true across the board for Faisalabad right now, and we would rather say so than print a number nobody has confirmed.
The largest confirmed national presence in Faisalabad is Beaconhouse School System. Beaconhouse's own site lists a Main Campus on East Canal Road near Ghulam Fatima Karim Hospital (Early Years through Secondary), a Primary Campus at Peoples Colony on Jaranwala Road (Primary and Middle Years), a Civil Lines Primary Campus on Textile Road (Early Years and Middle Years), and BCP - the Beaconhouse College Programme campus - at New Gulshan-e-Iqbal Colony on East Canal Road. SchoolNama additionally picks up a Beaconhouse Faisalabad Kindergarten at 3-A Peoples Colony from directory data. Fees are not published on the campus pages; Beaconhouse routes fee enquiries to a helpline and campus email instead, so treat any exact monthly figure you see quoted on a third-party site as unverified until the campus confirms it in writing.
The City School has a Faisalabad presence too. SchoolNama shows two verified The City School entries in Faisalabad - a Peoples Colony Branch at Chenone Road, and a campus on Jaranwala Road; other TCS Faisalabad campus names circulating on third-party sites are not yet reconciled with the network's own directory, so ask the campus directly if you see one advertised elsewhere. Lahore Grammar School's Faisalabad campus sits at Canal Park on East Canal Road, with a junior branch at Peoples Colony - LGS runs from preschool through A Levels and is part of a national network of more than 70 campuses across Pakistan. Roots International Schools & Colleges' own campus directory does not currently list a Faisalabad campus (its published campuses are in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Wah Cantt, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad and, upcoming, Gujranwala). SchoolNama's data still shows several Roots-named profiles under Faisalabad pulled from directory sources; treat those as directory entries pending reconciliation rather than confirmed Roots campuses until Roots itself lists a Faisalabad address.
Faisalabad also has its own long-established local names. Divisional Public School & College is one of the older and better-known institutions in Madina Town, offering Matric alongside O Level admissions (their published contact routes O Level enquiries to a separate number). SchoolNama's Madina Town listings pick up several DPS entries (Junior, Girls, Boys and Hostel sections) that correspond to different parts of the same campus system - a reminder to always ask, when you visit, which section handles which grades. Faisalabad Grammar School, established in 1979, is another long-running local independent; its own site lists the main campus at Kohinoor City Faisalabad and shows Early Years, Primary, Middle and Secondary sections, and its network site is fgschools.edu.pk.
On the college and pre-university side, Chenab College of Advanced Studies runs a Faisalabad campus on Jaranwala Road offering FA/FSc and BS programmes; Punjab College has multiple Faisalabad campuses in Peoples Colony and D Ground for FA/FSc and commerce. These are not primary schools, but they matter for parents thinking two or three years ahead about intermediate options.
On curriculum, Faisalabad splits along the same familiar lines as the rest of Punjab. Matric-stream schools register Class 9 and 10 students with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad (BISE Faisalabad), which runs its own SSC and HSSC calendar - check bisefsd.edu.pk directly for the current year's registration windows rather than trusting a date printed in an older article, since single-fee and late-fee windows shift year to year. O and A Level schools register their students with Cambridge International (CAIE) instead and are not tied to the BISE calendar. A few schools, like DPS, offer more than one board, which matters if you are weighing university options later.
One genuinely new and useful fact for Faisalabad parents this year: in May 2026, Punjab overhauled its private-school registration rules. Every private school in the province is now required to disclose its fee structure, admit at least 10 percent of students from underprivileged backgrounds, provide transport to at least 50 percent of enrolled students, and register on both the Punjab Safety App and the Green School App - alongside building fitness and hygiene certificates, anti-dengue and sanitation standards, and CCTV requirements. In practice, that means it is now fair, and increasingly enforceable, to ask any Faisalabad private school to show its fee structure in writing rather than give a verbal quote, and to ask how it is meeting the new transport and safety requirements before you enrol.
On transport specifically: SchoolNama does not yet have any verified pick-and-drop providers listed for Faisalabad; our transport directory is still being built city by city. Ask each school directly whether it runs its own van fleet or works with named third-party operators, and ask for the operator's verification details before booking. The new Punjab rule requiring transport for at least half of enrolled students makes this a fair question to put to any campus on your shortlist, not an awkward one.
We also get asked about parent reviews. SchoolNama's parent-review system exists, but it is still early: the ratings visible on other cities' campus pages are a small set of seed reviews, not a mature dataset, and Faisalabad campuses do not have parent-submitted ratings yet at all. Use word-of-mouth from other parents in your target area, area-specific parent groups, and a physical campus visit rather than trusting any star rating you see online right now - on SchoolNama or elsewhere - until the review base is bigger.
Put practically, a sensible way to shortlist in Faisalabad: pick your curriculum first (Matric via BISE Faisalabad, or O/A Level via Cambridge), then pick your area, then compare two or three campuses within that area on facilities, transport, class size and the school's own written fee sheet - not a number quoted by a third-party site. Beaconhouse gives you the most branch choice per area; The City School, Lahore Grammar School, Divisional Public School & College and Faisalabad Grammar School are established options worth an in-person visit; and Chenab and Punjab College are worth considering for FSc and BS continuation.

Checklist before you decide
- ✓Confirm the curriculum and board (Matric via BISE Faisalabad, O/A Level via Cambridge, or both) before comparing anything else.
- ✓Ask for the fee structure in writing - Punjab's 2026 rules now require every private school to disclose it, so a verbal-only quote is a fair thing to push back on.
- ✓Ask how the school is registered with Punjab's School Education Department and whether it is on the Punjab Safety App and Green School App.
- ✓Ask specifically about transport: does the school run its own vans, or use named third-party operators? Punjab's new rules require coverage for at least 50 percent of enrolled students.
- ✓Visit the campus in person rather than relying on a star rating - Faisalabad review data on SchoolNama and most other sites is still thin.
- ✓If comparing two branches of the same network (say two Beaconhouse campuses in Faisalabad), ask what differs branch to branch - fees, facilities and teacher tenure can vary within one brand.
- ✓For a Matric-stream school, check BISE Faisalabad's current-year registration window directly at bisefsd.edu.pk rather than assuming last year's dates still apply.
- ✓For O Level, ask which Cambridge series (May/June or October/November) the school prepares for and how far in advance it registers candidates with CAIE.
Frequently asked questions
Which schools should parents shortlist in Faisalabad?
There is no single verified number one - shortlist by category. For branch choice, Beaconhouse (Main Campus on Canal, Primary and Civil Lines Primary campuses, a KG at Peoples Colony, and the BCP college programme at New Gulshan-e-Iqbal Colony on East Canal Road) and The City School (a Peoples Colony branch at Chenone Road and a Jaranwala Road campus, per SchoolNama) cover the most ground. For established local independents, look at Divisional Public School & College in Madina Town and Faisalabad Grammar School (main campus at Kohinoor City). Lahore Grammar School's Faisalabad campus on Canal Park is a further national-network option. For FSc and BS continuation, Chenab College of Advanced Studies and Punjab College have Faisalabad campuses.
What are the fee bands for schools in Faisalabad?
Beaconhouse's Faisalabad campus pages do not publish tuition figures and route fee enquiries to a helpline and campus email. No Faisalabad campus on SchoolNama has a school-submitted fee table yet either, so we are not printing an unverified number. Punjab's 2026 regulation now requires private schools to disclose their fee structure, so ask the campus for it in writing during a visit rather than relying on a third-party estimate.
Which offer O Levels or Matric?
Beaconhouse, The City School and Lahore Grammar School run Cambridge O and A Level streams at their Faisalabad campuses. Divisional Public School & College is Matric-stream and also has a separate O Level admissions channel. Faisalabad Grammar School's own site currently lists Early Years through Secondary; ask the campus directly whether it currently offers O and A Level streams. Matric registration goes through BISE Faisalabad; O and A Level candidates register with Cambridge International (CAIE).
Which areas have the strongest options?
By the number of SchoolNama listings, D Ground (63) and Peoples Colony (52) lead - and Peoples Colony in particular concentrates Beaconhouse Primary, The City School Peoples Colony branch, Faisalabad Grammar School and Chenab College of Advanced Studies. Jaranwala Road (19) covers Beaconhouse BCP, Beaconhouse A Levels and LGS. Madina Town (18) is where Divisional Public School & College is based. Pick your curriculum first, then use the area page to see what is nearby your home or workplace.
What should parents verify before admission?
Curriculum and board affiliation, the school's written fee structure (now required under Punjab's 2026 rules), its registration status with Punjab's School Education Department and Safety/Green School app registration, its transport arrangement, and an in-person campus visit - a star rating alone is not enough given how little verified Faisalabad review data exists yet.
